Hewlett-Packard is a global provider of infrastructure
software and services for network and service providers.
HP Internet Usage Manager (IUM) offers a usage management
solution that provides metering, management, and analysis
of subscriber service usage. IUM, by collecting, aggregating
and correlating usage data from the entire network and
IP services infrastructure, service providers can implement
usage-based billing systems, manage capacity and analyze
subscriber's needs and behavior to develop strategic
marketing programs and profitable value-added services.
HP had total revenue of $45.2 billion in its 2001 fiscal
year.
