Hewlett-Packard is a global provider of infrastructure software and services for network and service providers. HP Internet Usage Manager (IUM) offers a usage management solution that provides metering, management, and analysis of subscriber service usage. IUM, by collecting, aggregating and correlating usage data from the entire network and IP services infrastructure, service providers can implement usage-based billing systems, manage capacity and analyze subscriber's needs and behavior to develop strategic marketing programs and profitable value-added services.

HP had total revenue of $45.2 billion in its 2001 fiscal year.

Ericsson CMS have helped over 300 carriers worldwide reduce operating expenses by stopping revenue leakage, eliminating faulty service provisional tasks, significantly reducing the operational risk of migrating existing network infrastructure and back office systems, and by reducing backhaul costs. Portal Software develops customer management and billing software for communications and content service providers. Portal’s real-time, convergent platform enables its customers to rapidly define, deploy, and bill for services with flexible business models. Portal’s software is licensed by a majority of the world’s largest communications providers to deliver voice, data, video, and content services across wireless, wireline, cable, and satellite networks. Core Networks' flagship product, CoreOS, addresses: activation and provisioning, subscriber support and self-care, and network monitoring and management. CoreOS has been deployed at global customer sites for nearly four years. The company is a member of CableLabs and ComLabs, and works with major CMTS and cable modem vendors, as well as other industry partners to ensure advanced feature support and compatibility. Established in 1998, Core Networks is headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with offices in Atlanta, Georgia, San Jose, California, and Woerden, The Netherlands.

Funk Software's Steel-Belted Radius is an award-winning RADIUS/AAA server that manages the authentication, authorization, and accounting of remote and WLAN users. Steel-Belted Radius can authenticate wireless LAN and remote users against multiple back-end databases, including Windows NT/2000, Solaris and SQL/LDAP databases.
